To create an inspiring learning journey for your learners, you can use different types of content in aNewSpring. You can add these to both content parts and questions. You will find the types of content below.

Some content types require external tools. Knowledge about these tools is required. Contact the creators of the tool for support.

Text

In the text editor you have several options such as adding downloadable documents, formulas and tables.

Image

Add images with hotspots.

Audio

You can add audio in .mp3 format. This type you don't add via the plus editor, but below you will find a setting where you can upload the audio file.

By ticking Autoplay, the audio will play immediately when a learner enters the page.

Video

Upload videos in aNewSpring, or use other platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, Synthesia and hihaho.

Add Cue Point to add timed bullets to videos.

Documents an presentations

Use the Google Docs, MS Office Viewer, PDF Viewer, ISSUU, Slideshare or Prezi to add your documents and presentations to the content.

HTML

You can use HTML. With the Editor button you can also change the text in the editor.

Sometimes web pages are blocked from being used in an iFrame. You will then see a message that the content cannot be displayed.

Web

Add a website to a content part with iFrame. Paste the url of a website in the URL-field and choose Ok.

List

When using List you can add all kinds of lists to the content part (a checklist, for example).

The list items can be provided with a content part for extra information.

The checklist is primarily meant for performance support. Learners can check off a list of tasks at their workplace. The checked items aren't stored in the system and the next time a learner has to complete the same task, he can make use of the same checklist.
